Assistant Manager – Luxury Fashion
Up to £20,000

This Luxury Fashion brand is looking for an Assistant Manager for a brand new store opening in Cambridge.

The Company:

The brand portfolio covers all the key fashion segments ranging from classic tailored fashions, evening and casual fashion to shoes and leather accessories as well as licensed perfumes, watches, eyewear and children’s fashion. They have more than 1,400 stores in over 80 countries and are heavily involved with the sponsorship of various athletic and cultural events.

Assistant Manager - The Candidate:

• Demonstrable success gained as a Assistant Manager/Supervisor with a recognised brand
• Previous experience in managing a team
• Understand and represent the brand attributes 
• Ability to lead, motivate, train and develop a team through active management
• Excellent communication skills. With the ability to communicate with senior members of staff both written and verbal 
• Enthusiastic, self-confident and self-motivated 
• Pays close attention to detail, accuracy and is analytical 
• Willing to adapt and take on new challenges and is driven to continually improve 
• Always presents a professional image 
• Ambition and drive to achieve company sales targets

Assistant Manager - The Role:

They are looking for an Assistant Manager to co-manage their new store in Cambridge.  Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Be really sales focused and proactively achieve sales targets for the month
• Ensure the team offers exceptional personal service to all customers
• Support Store Manager with Store Operations
• Management of rotas to ensure all areas, shifts & peak trading periods are covered
• Supervision of your team, ensuring 100% efficiency and effectiveness
• Assist Sales Associates in the selling process whenever needed, and ensure that their product knowledge is up-to-date
• Ensure that Sales Associates achieve high results in mystery shops
• As Assistant Store Manager you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager with  the development of your people: regularly meet one-to-one with each Sales Associate, using coaching skills to improve sales & service performance
• Daily team briefings on product knowledge & performance, motivating team to even greater achievements
• Assist with the overseeing  standards in Store including: visual merchandising, stock control, staffing rotas, housekeeping, customer service, and promotional activity
• Excellent preparation for all critical activity: seasonal sales uplifts, Sale periods, large deliveries, etc
• Management of till and all monies in the store
• Minimise staff turnover by building a high-performance motivated team
• Liaison with key departments in Head Office

The Package:

• Salary up to £20,000
