Personal Assistants to Company Owner

You will be the first point of call to the owner of a major international branded business! Dealing with retailers, factories, all internal and external contacts on a daily basis!You will be in a position to travel Far East, Europe and America on short notice when required!

This fantastic and challenging role requires a very confident, enthusiastic, professional individual who wants to be part of this fantastic business.

We are looking for a well educated, computer literate, organised individual who wants to go that extra!

Personal assistants (PAs) often act as their managers first point of contact with people from both inside and outside the organisation. Typical work activities include:

screening telephone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate;

meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority;

organising and maintaining diaries and making appointments;

dealing with incoming email, faxes and post, often corresponding on behalf of their manager;

taking dictation and minutes;

carrying out background research and presenting findings;

producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations;

organising and attending meetings and ensuring their manager is well-prepared for meetings;

liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff;

deputising for the manager, making decisions and delegating work to others in the managers absence;

devising and maintaining office systems, including data management, filing, etc.;

arranging travel and accommodation and, occasionally, travelling with the manager to take notes or dictation at meetings or to provide general assistance during presentations.

In addition to supporting managers, their team and departments, many PAs also have their own personal workload and responsibilities. The scope of the PAs role can be extensive and additional duties may include:

carrying out specific projects and research;

being involved in some decision-making processes.

This is a career not a 9 to 5 job!!
