Merchandiser
Previous Merchandising experience in clothing industry – minimum 5 years
You will form part of a small dedicated team liaising with factories in India and providing information for customers from product development through to eventual delivery. You will be expected to manage and be responsible for customer's production critical paths and to be front facing with customers as and when required.
The successful candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills as liaising between the production facilities, in house QC’s and customers is a major element of this role. Combined with this is the requirement for a high degree of numeracy, attention to detail and be proficient user of Microsoft systems especially Excel.
Have knowledge of operational processes and be proficient in execution of CMT and FOB price negotiation.
Action article set up, cost and retail price checking, raising PO and PO maintenance, sending relevant packaging information to factory
Propose alternatives where product has been short shipped or late delivered.Risk management
Commercial Awareness
Exceptional communication, organisation & prioritisation skills
Run reports as required on a weekly basis, helping to collate information for Monday morning production meeting.
