POSITION: STYLIST

 

 

 

Leading online women's fashion retailer, Boohoo.com is seeking a Stylist.

 

 

 

Job Description:

 

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the UK's fastest growing online fashion retailer as a stylist, based in the head office in Central Manchester. Working in an exciting and fast paced studio environment, this is an excellent opportunity for a degree qualified or experienced fashion stylist to make a name for themselves with a brand that's making waves online.

 

 

 

Responsibilities include

 

1. Oversee the styling team.

    

2. Schedule all “looks” and set the brief for the styling team to follow.

    

3. Liaise with and brief freelance make up artists.

    

4. Must have a passion for fashion and keep up-to date with the latest trends, be aware of how the high-street is selling and what our competitors are doing. Liaise with the buying and marketing dept. and input to the in-house teams.

    

5. Attend daily and weekly meetings in the studio and inter-departmental meetings as above.

    

6. Management of styling team and practices.

    

7. Responsible for two direct reports.

    

8. Responsible for the garment look and feel of the product shots on site.

    

9. Responsible for implementing the production schedule set by the studio manager.

    

10. Responsible for the general organisation of the sample room.

     

11. Must be able to apply the overall brief set by the senior team.

     

12. Responsible for scheduling models and hair and MUA's to meet the production schedule.

     

13. Must maintain and seek out relationships with MUA's and local Model Agencies.

     

14. Must be able to work on ad-hoc projects as required by the senior team.

     

15. Must be flexible and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

     

16. Must be willing to cover other studio positions when necessary.
