Our client is a reputable value retailer specialising in affordable, quality womenswear is looking to appoint an Assistant Merchandiser.

This successful ladies clothing retailer believes in giving their staff responsibility and accountability and will recognise and reward those who are successful. They are a retailer who considers themselves to be innovative and by not having those layers of management common in large organisations they feel that they help the staff to think in a proactive and progressive way.

As an Assistant Merchandiser you will be supporting the Merchandiser in the day to day running of the department and to help in the planning, management and optimisation of sales, stock, markdown and profit. You will be responsible for supply management, accurately re-forecasting sales and intake at line and category level and effect those changes in the merchandise planning system.

Candidates will have head office retail merchandising experience. Working knowledge of forecasting principles with strong Analytical, Communication skills.
