Resistance to beauty ‘rules’ is emerging with the rejection of ideas that we need to look a certain way to seem beautiful and fit into today’s society.  We use make-up to enhance what we have, but do we really express ourselves?.  We will begin to rebel against unattainable portrayals of beauty and become more artistic and experimental, taking inspiration from artists like Lady Gaga who are not afraid to be different and try something new.
