Guest Panel:

Torquil McIntosh - Director - Sybarite. Architect and co-founder of this London-based practice, Torquil believes design should fulfil the twin brief of functionality and pleasure and that there should be no boundaries between art, sculpture and architecture. As the exclusive shop designers for fashion labels such as Marni and Alberta Ferretti, Sybarite are leaders in the field, delivering strong architectural language which has become integral to each brand’s identity.

Thierry Bayle - Director - Management One. For 20 years, Management One has been working with independent fashion retailers on their 2 greatest assets: stock and people. Their clients have benefited from better cash flow and more profitable sales coming through the door.

David Judge – Creative Director – JudgeGill. Environmental designer with 22 years experience in creating dynamic interactive spaces for brands and companies to engage and entertain the customers or staff and is a specialist in how environments effect people emotionally and sensorially. David understands fully how environmental design works as part of a brand strategy and is passionate about ensuring the companies work is always pushing the limits of this design sector to ensure its appeal to the ipod generation.

Zoe Lem – Owner – My Sugarland.  Islington based My Sugarland was started by fashion/celebrity stylist Zoe Lem one year ago. Having been a stylist for over 10 years one of the key aims with setting up the shop was to correct all of the annoying things about retail that can damage the pleasure of the shopping experience.   

Kate Evans – Owner – Precious. Former fashion buyer for Harrods & Harvey Nichols, Kate opened Precious in Spitalfields just over three years ago. The boutique has quickly established itself as a destination for designer fashion in the area and become a haven for women who appreciate the personal service and honest style advice on offer.
