About Fiona McIntosh

The Fashion Network and Harvey Nichols are delighted to announce that on Monday 19th March, Fiona McIntosh, Grazia Magazines' Founding Editor and Ex Editor at Elle UK and Company Magazine, will be the next guest speaker at The Fashion Networks networking series in Manchester.

In 1999 Fiona was named ‘editor of the year’ by the British society of Magazine Editors for her work at Elle UK Magazine. After gaining a wealth of editing experience at Elle, Company Magazine and the Evening Standard’s ES Magazine, Fiona went on to launch Grazia: Britain’s first celebrity/high fashion weekly with a budget of £16m and a staff of 43.

Also long time consulting editor at Emap, in 2010 Fiona was appointed consultant creative director at online fashion retailer: MyWardrobe. By developing the websites online editorial content and creating an online magazine and seasonal style guides for the company, Fiona managed to successfully rebrand My Wardrobe into one of the leading fashion e-commerce giants.

As well as being a regular contributor for publications, Fiona now works as a consultant for Mondadori, the publisher of GRAZIA, on international digital projects and on launching new editions of GRAZIA around the world.

Join TFN and Harvey Nichols as we invite Katie Poperwell from Emerald Street, Stylist Magazine to host a live Q+A with Fiona who will be sharing her 17years of experience of the fashion industry.

The evening will cover Fiona’s thoughts on the industry, how to develop your business (including a presentation on her work with MyWardrobe and Grazia), plus a Q+A opportunity for the industry.

The event is open to anyone who is interested in/working in the fashion industry.
