It’s time for the stylish men of Manchester to dress to impress as Esquire, in association with my-wardrobe.com, is hosting an exclusive style event at The Lowry Hotel in Manchester on Thursday 12 May to search of Britain’s Best Dressed Real Man 2011.
From 6:30pm Esquire and my-wardrobe.com fashion teams will be hosting evening style workshops in the hotel’s Grand Ballroom and the city’s best dressed men wishing to get their hands on a prize worth £20,000 are being urged to attend.
Guests will be treated to a Peroni pop-up bar served by the gorgeous Peroni girls as well as delicious canapés. An Esquire photographer will also be on hand to snap the best dressed individuals who could find themselves featured in Esquire and on www.esquire.co.uk.
The best dressed real man of 2011 will win £20,000 to spend at my-wardrobe.com (the equivalent of a brand new outfit every fortnight for a year), a Longines watch, a Niven & Joshua hamper, a night in a lavish suite, courtesy of London’s May Fair Hotel and a coveted cover shoot for Esquire’s October issue.
Last year, two best dressed Mancunians made it into the final 12 and Esquire is once again inviting men of all shape, sizes and styles to step forward.
Group Publishing Director, Luxury Group, Tess Macleod-Smith says: “We are delighted to once again be launching the UK’s search for Britain’s Best Dressed Real Man 2011. The success of last year’s campaign proved that fashion isn’t just about celebrity and British men do have an innate sense of style, an attention to detail and an attitude that sets us apart from other nationalities. As the country’s leading style magazine we’re looking forward to discovering the UK’s best dressed real men.”
Buying and Merchandising Director of my-wardrobe.com, Luisa De Paula says, “We are proud to partner with Esquire on the Britain’s Best Dressed Real Man campaign. We believe that Esquire fits with our ethos of ‘Everyday Luxury’. British men have never paid more attention to the way they dress, so it’s an exciting time for us to unearth true style. my-wardrobe.com encompasses all aspects of the modern man’s wardrobe, whether it be contemporary, casual, designer or classic inspirations, the hunt for the UK’s Best Dressed Real Man is on.”
