Sarah Curran - Founder and CEO of my-wardrobe.com

Sarah began her career working within a number of fashion agencies.  It was here that Sarah gained a firm grounding in fashion and developed a personal passion for the industry.

Sarah then moved on to pursue a career in the print media, where she worked within News International for seven years for The Times and later as sub-editor of The Times Online, which gave her relevant experience working with online editorial.

In August 2003 Sarah returned to her love of fashion, opening Powder, a fashion boutique in North London selecting brands such as Cacharel, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Paul and Joe.

After a move to the South of France and the birth of her first child, Sarah and her husband and business partner Andrew decided to explore and expand the business online. Anticipating the rapid growth of the online fashion industry, Sarah and Andrew launched my-wardrobe.com in April 2006, specialising ‘accessible luxury’ designer womenswear brands and most recently menswear with the January 2009 launch of the menswear site.

The rapid growth of the business brought Sarah and Andrew back to the UK, where they set up the base of my-wardrobe.com in Nottingham and the HQ in central London.

my-wardrobe.com was awarded Best Customer Experience at the Drapers Etail Awards 2010, which followed Gold: Overall Winner and Best Innovation at the 2009 Drapers E-Tail Awards and a nomination for Best Emerging Retailer at the 2009 Retail Week Awards.  Sarah has also received Management Today 35 Under 35 and Young Guns accolades and most recently has been listed as number three of the Online Fashion 100.

Sarah now acts as CEO of my-wardrobe.com.  Sarah attends fashion shows around the world and regularly comments on trends and designers for leading print and broadcast media, as well as speaking at key events including the British Chamber of Commerce Annual Conference, the Drapers Fashion Summit, Fashion Business Club and the 2010 L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival.

In recognition of Sarah’s entrepreneurial skills and expertise in the fashion sector, she has been made a fellow of the RSA (The Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce)

Lauren Stevenson - PR Director - my-wardrobe.com

Lauren began her career at luxury London fashion agency, Aurelia PR working on brands such as Versace, Salvatore Ferragamo and La Redoute.  It was here that she gained extensive experience of building and repositioning fashion brands within the media arena.

Building an impressive list of contacts spanning both fashion and consumer media, Lauren moved to global agency, Ketchum to work across a number of blue chip companies, managing their integrated marketing communications campaigns.

In 2006, Lauren joined competitor agency Hill and Knowlton to develop and lead fashion-focused campaigns for global consumer brands, which included creating partnerships between Intel and Giles Deacon and Ariel and Amanda Wakeley.  It was here that Lauren was introduced emerging online retailer, my-wardrobe.com, where she was responsible for creating and managing the PR campaigns to establish the brand as a key player in the fashion e-tail market.

In 2007, Lauren joined my-wardrobe.com as PR Director to build the in-house PR and Marketing team to drive the media and brand marketing campaigns, building the awareness of my-wardrobe.com, which has now become one of the most talked-about online fashion retailers in the UK.

Lauren is now responsible for leading a team of six at the new London HQ and is a regular commentator on trends and online retail.
