TFN: How has the Recruitment Industry changed since the economic down-turn?

EM: The Fashion Recruitment Industry has always been competitive but it is now fiercer than ever. Clients are much more selective about the candidates they recruit and we are constantly striving to come up with creative and ingenious ways of identifying the most talented people in the market.

TFN: What are the most popular jobs applied for on Four Seasons?

EM: We receive the highest levels of response for our more junior vacancies, for example our store based sales roles or graduate and entry-level head office positions.

TFN: Your News Pages are filled with team news and event reports, how important is it for Four Seasons to inform users of the company’s activities?

EM: It is really important to us that we communicate with our candidates and clients about events or industry news items which we feel are interesting and relevant. We want to connect with the people we work with on a more personal level and provide useful advice or interesting information even if we can’t help them to find a job.

TFN: How does Four Seasons utilise Social Media to recruit for roles advertised on the site?

EM: We utilise Social Media extensively to recruit for the roles we work on. We are finding that candidates are increasingly using social and professional networking sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter to find their next career move. This is why we have a really active presence on these sites and ensure that we are constantly communicating our latest vacancies via these channels.
