Cupcakes, red carpets top with a sprinkle of Shoe Lalala!!! Following their diamante dusted chunky heels, croc smock Mary-Jane’s and making razor sharp studs an additional reason to fear the fashion savvy female, Louboutin have some how managed to top this dramatic summer solstice collection with a deconstructive twist on old collections, softening of the classic palette and keeping their eye strictly on the ball ‘excuse the pun’ with their girly glam encrusted high-tops from Sports Luxe. And of course Louboutin wouldn’t be the devilish designer must have without their famed brush stroke sole!

When asked to write this piece, I was a little apprehensive thatLouboutin  could pull off another truly original yet commercial line after considering the ‘resesh spesh’ recession special Drapers announced this week online. Shoppers are tightening the reigns, taking nearly four times as long to purchase and analysis as much as Steve Job’s product development team! Without the financial considerations, we wouldn’t have the fashion, but here’s why I think this collection is sure to create another razor sharp storm for Autum/Winter.

The collection as a whole is persistently edgy with a poignant rock romantic theme. Colour palettes included the staple sultry red and classic commodore black resonating from any true Louboutin collection, with a gentle warming of gold, coral, cream and beige tones, Louboutin add and an almost cosy ,blushed feel to this collection.

Silhouettes are typically Louboutin with platform soles and distinct crafted cuts, ballet pumps, feminine peep toes and a distinct sprinkle of glam metallic’s; however their heightened black court for me is the shoe show stopper for me! With us ladies being so particular about our purchases this A/W, these are certain to go refresh the ‘vintage vinyl pieces’ in any recession ridden wardrobe, sporting a 5 ½” heel, double layer red platform peep toe sole, soft leather inset with a disconnecting metallic heel zip! Remembering to keep the plush ladies happy, they soften the whole collection by introducing feminine bows with the odd pastel shade! What more could we want for a sheer chic look.

Taking the commercial storm trend of the season ‘Sports Luxe’ to a new edge, I’m thinking Louboutin have been have secret dates with Crystled.co and Studstyled.com, are the fabulous Leo-print hi-tops. A controversial asset to any woman’s wardrobe must have for pre A/W, I’m thinking team with the occasional ditsy dress or basic t and jeans less is more is defiantly key to keeping this trend fresh!

All in all Louboutin have got all angles covered for A/W 10, their eclectically reserved mix keeps is sure to keep the papz hot on any girls hems and her the guys on their toes!
