For those who are unsure of whatTopman LTD really is, simply it's what Topshop Unique is to Topshop. A stripped down version of their mainline ranges, with much more concentration on the fit, quality of fabrics and a empathise on garment longevity without being too trend led. This range taps into their customer who is slightly more fashion savvy and who are all about the small details.

Being a Spring/Summer collection, Topman have introduced a “Resort” look into focus. With notched collared shirts, safari button downs, doubled breasted blazers and tailored shorts in an flurry of warm pale colours. Reminiscent of a look James Bong would be sporting in one of his adventures. This seasons more relaxed approach draws in from the Scandinavian countries, which is having a heavily influence on the current high street, with a more stripped down/back to basics aesthetic. Urban Outfitters currently have a section on their online store entitled “Scandinavian Style”, featuring brands such as Acne, Won Hundred, Cheap Monday and new comers, Uniforms For The Dedicated.

This is definitely the look of the summer, with a no-nonsense approach to what is traditionally quite a fussy season. One other brand to watch out for is English based company, Norsea Industries, whose champion the modern work wear look. We are predicting big things for these chaps.

The Topman LTD collection is available in store and online now.
