Our 10 Favourite Fashion Blogs
Fashion blogs have begun to take over the internet, people casting aside weighty glossies and instead turning to their browser for their fashion fix.
The 'next big thing' in blogging seems to change every day but there are those special blogs that keep going strong, producing interesting content, great style and fashion forward thinking. Due to the immediacy of the internet, it is the way forward for information of all walks of life including fashion. To celebrate this forever growing phenomenon, we compiled a list of our favourite fashion blogs out there in no particular order, plus a list of ones you should bookmark quickly and ways to keep up to date with your favourite bloggers.
Susanna Lau aka Susie Bubble, is part of the blogging elite. Her blog, Style Bubble has been on the top of everyone's favourite fashion blog lists since she began 4 years ago. Due to her blogging royalty status she always manages to get the best access, try out the best clothes and interview great upcoming designers. She has a perfect mix of her own style through outfit posts and a closer look at up and coming designers. Look to Style Bubble for her creative sense of style, knowledge of new designers and entertaining, informative take on fashion.
If you love looking through beautiful photography and perfect outfits, the The Cherry Blossom Girl is the blog for you. Always impeccably dressed in the best labels, ranging from Miu Miu to Chloe, and in perfect Parisian surroundings. Look to The Cherry Blossom Girl for beautiful photography, outfit aspiration and inspiration.
Tavi is the new girl in town, well she was when she started her blog, she is now one of the most established bloggers in the World and sitting front row at New York Fashion Week, the only difference is that she's only 13. Her writing is beyond her years and shows a great insight into the warped world of fashion with a very different point of view to the editorial big guns. Look to Style Rookie for refreshing views, individual style and a unique voice.
Style Salvage is one of my favourite menswear blogs. Dedicated to turning the men of Britain into dapper chaps, Steve and Eliza the brains behind Style Salvage, bring a fresh take on a mixture of brands ranging from traditional to ultra modern. Look to Style Salvage for indepth interviews, thorough brand reports and trends.
The best place to see individual and unique Street Style. The Facehunter aka Yvan Rodic travels the World to capture the best dressed people with character and style. There's no shortage on inspiration on Facehunter. You should also check out Yvan's personal photography diary here. Look to Facehunter for individual style, out of the ordinary styling and fashion's up and coming idols.
There is no better place to online to look at the Fash Pack's accessories up close and personal. It is entirely photography based, concentrating on stylish people around Fashion Week. Tommy Ton's street style shots of shoes, handbags and jewellery are the best there are. Look to Jak and Jil for shoe gazing, perfect photography and impeccable style.
The perfect gentleman, The Sartorialist captures the traditionally stylish on the street. Ranging from well dressed gents in New York to Milan's finest. The Sartorialist is currently running a vintage photograph competition where his readers enter their favourite antique photography along with a personal story, so that is definitely worth a visit. Look to The Sartorialist for tradition, well captured photography and classic brands.
Queen Michelle and Marie reign over the highlands with their fashion and lifestyle knowledge. Queen Michelle has great personal style, incorporating elastic, sheer and latex accessories into everyday outfits. Kingdom of Style also have a great knowledge of independent designers. Look to Kingdom of Style for styling ideas, new designers and the odd metal video.
The online portfolio of Danny Roberts, the creator of beautiful, unique fashion illustrations. He captures the best fashion bloggers, models and fashion icons in his artwork. Look to Igor + Andre for beautiful illustrations, fashion forward thinking and a humble opinion.
Rumi aka Fashion Toast has created quite a storm on the internet over the past 3 years that she has had her blog. Rumi focuses solely on what she wears on a day to day basis. With model looks and the wardrobe of many girls' dreams, she is the perfect clothes horse. Look to Fashion Toast for individual style, day to day inspiration and stunning photography.

The best way to keep your blogs in order and easy to read, I find, is by following them on Bloglovin' or Google Reader. They both offer a clear layout and instantaneously update as your favourite blogs launch a new post. Bloglovin' is my reader of choice as I find the layout easy to use and love the 'Popular' section where you can see the biggest blogs and the newbies side by side.
