Liam Gallagher and Pretty Green

Carrying on from Siobhan's previous article looking into the links between music and fashion, here we take a closer peek into Liam Gallagher's new collection from Pretty Green which is slowly making itself available.

Everything in the range is strictly 'limited edition' which explains the rather hefty price tag of some of the pieces for example, the camoflague parka that launched online yesterday. It is, basically, a range of clothes that Liam has designed for himself. Perfect for fans who want to recreate his look and channel his attitude.

These new additions to the range have a very 60's, hippy-esque vibe to them with psychedelic  graphics and silk scarves that are sure to appeal to a wide range of men (and surely women!) who may not be fans of Gallagher's music. I think the fashion dabblings of musicians can be a little gratuitous which will obviously put the majority of people off, leaving only the hardcore fans to buy substandard, bad quality clothing. However, Gallagher's range is very high quality, well designed and reminiscent of Paul Smith with a side order of grunge. Which is good in my books!

Liam is also planning a foray into womenswear due to a popular demand. Liam is surprised at the sheer popularity of the brand and is looking forward to providing a wider range of clothing to a wider range of customers. We're looking forward to it!
