Strutt Couture, the iconic British footwear brand, is excited to announce that it is to team up with Zandra Rhodes for its forthcoming Spring Summer 2010 collection.

The world renowned designer, Zandra Rhodes, is to work exclusively with Strutt Couture over the next five years to bring some of her signature British styles to this already fashion savvy footwear brand.

The collection to be known as Zandra Rhodes by Strutt Couture will expand on Strutt’s commitment to style, design innovation, colour and attitude to create affordable accessorising with designer desirability for its already huge fan base.

As Zandra herself has said

‘Shoes are the staple of every woman’s wardrobe so I jumped at the chance to work with such an exciting footwear brand as Strutt Couture. I am not giving anything away as to the direction of the collection but it will most definitely appeal to all fashion inspired women who love to accessorise their outfits with a great pair of shoes’.

With an already large celebrity following from style conscious stars such as Sienna Miller, Kate Moss and
Gwen Stefani, it is no surprise that this fashion inspired brand has attracted such an acclaimed designer.

Speaking of the collaboration, Ian O’Connor, designer at Strutt Couture has said

‘Zandra is an iconic British designer who I have long admired. The opportunity of working with a fashion legend comes around rarely and am absolutely thrilled by the prospect of collaborating with Zandra on this collection.’

With the designs still in discussion and everyone remaining tight lipped, one thing is for certain, the creation
of unique and exciting footwear designs will bring a collection that ensures that these shoes will be made for talking.
