February 2010 sees the launch of Stitch, London’s first dedicated menswear and accessories tradeshow, who come with the aim of bringing the buying culture back to the UK. Stitch Menswear is set to be London’s answer to Bread & Butter, presenting a platform for buyers and industry professionals to navigate, explore and identify brands, aswell as acting as a key meeting point for brands, buyers, press and retailers.

 

The selected brands are set to reflect the culture and philosophy the show. The exhibitors are will be split into 3 brand categories:

Denim - will consist of jeans brands; and those in tune with the spirit of denim.

Edge - Innovative, edgy brands that deliver classic or contemporary style.

Energy - Authentic brands that are inspired by sport, music and performance.

The selected brands have been chosen to offer visitors direction with their complete versatility and
extensive premium product mix.

 

Confirmed for the shows exclusive panel discussions is an impressive array of industry related professionals, including names such as, Raoul Shah Director of Exposure, Fergus Lawler Director of Purple PR, Daniel Ritterband Head of Marketing, Mayor of London Office and with the likes of Dylan Jones Editor of GQ, The British Fashion Council, Louise Wilson professor at St Martins and Peter Howarth ST Men’s Style all set to be confirmed at a later date.

 

There is no doubt that the fashion industry will be delighted at the presence of a new trade show that is soley dedicated to menswear, and also its ethos of providing a platform for trade and networking.
