UGG Manchester!!!

MFN sources have recently confirmed to us that Ugg Australia, famous for its sheepskin lined boots, will be opening its first Manchester store in the upcoming weeks as part of its expansion into Europe. Lately Ugg have been tarred with the same brush as the unbelievably hideous, Crocs which in my opinion is thoroughly undeserved, as they are by far the comfiest things ever made! And are in fact actually designed to be worn within the home, not to be teamed with a short denim skirt for all the outside world to see, this reason perhaps why opinions of thebrand may have changed.

Despite some bad press, Ugg obviously seem to be doing something right, as this news of the expansion proves. The expansion comes after a continued overwhelming global response to the Ugg Australia brand. As one of Ugg Australia's biggest markets, the brand has been embraced by the UK and its residents. The brand as you know isn’t just popular with us simple folk, Ugg boots have become a essential celebrity must have, with brand followers such as Kate Moss, Cameron Diaz, and Madonna.

The store will be situated on New Cathedral Street, along side other popular brands stores such as Reiss, Rockport, Ted Baker and Zara. Ugg will be hoping that the Manchester launch will prove to be as successful as the recent launch of the new Ugg store in Covent Garden, London, where shoppers were queuing up outside waiting for the store to open and the leaving with loaded with bags.

Ugg could go onto repeat the scenario of the Covent Garden launch, by holding a VIP party the night before the launch, with attendants such as model Jodie Kidd, ‘The Office’ actor Martin Freeman and ‘Doctor Who’ star Freeman Agyeman.

Our ears will be kept open for any news regarding the launch, and as always you will all be first to know.

But before I leave I want to ask you guys, will you be one of the shoppers queuing outside the Ugg Manchester store waiting for its opening??
