Pretty Disturbed?
By Amy Metcalfe
Pretty Disturbia is a 6 month old clothes line led by Manchester designer, Leesa Bertram that is already wowing the faces off the UK fashion circuit. Introducing an ultra girlie look with a serious attitude problem, Pretty Disturbia showcases a unique edge shadowed with a feminine touch for those quirky yet glam enough to pull it off. Leesa, managing director of Etra Design House Ltd said: ‘It’s different but style led. Inspiration is people like Amy Winehouse who has a beautiful voice but is corrupted by drugs and stuff so I wanted to show that kind of style. Other influences are burlesque, great graphic design and music.’‘A Pretty Disturbia costumer is between 25 and 30. She wears vintage and designer clothes, is a city girl and confident.’
