Last week I was invited to the launch of the General Stores new Spring/Summer collections including Religion, Buddhist Punk, Ringspun and Elvis Jesus.  Beside from being able to catch up with usual faces, the new collections had some exciting offerings, of which I took full advantage of picking up myself a polka dot Ringspun polo ( looks better than it sounds).

In-terms of Menswear, Ringspun has chosen to continue on with its slogan tees, whilst Elvis Jesus has doubled the number of sparkles on its product. The Religion offerings were a little bit more subdued in terms of colour, still offering that more gothic look which is still relevant in a more formal setting.

When looking at the women’s wear, in comparison to the men’s was like a metallic rainbow (if that’s possible). With sixties influences running throughout the collections highlighted by graphic psychedelic prints and daring hem lines.

All in all the General Store offers a variety of styles from the obvious casual to the more nightwear formal for both men and women.
